when you go to wal mart or target or a big store do you ever receive seperated from them? one time i went to walmart with my sister in law plus her sister and her husband we were on the 2nd floor and went down to the main floor and i went towards the mens clothes then turned around and realized every of them were not behind me. i ended up asking this lady at the men's fitting room to page her on the intercom and my sister in law never showed up. i still wanted to buy more,but decided to pay for what i already bought and wait outside b/c maybe they were outside ,but they werent. i waited outside for about 30 mins when i saw them at the register i was very mad. last week i went back to that walmart,but this time with my sister in law's sister's husband. i told my sister in law i didnt want to go with her b/c i might receive seperated from her

Resolved Question: Any plus size Mom's having trouble getting maternity clothes?
I'm a Canadian Mom and I went to Thyme Maternity and got stared at and ignored bc I'm not itty bitty. (I'm not knocking you tiny Moms) But I would need three pairs of their jeans to make one pair for me. Everything was super tiny. So I went to Wal-mart. I bought every my stuff there 5 years ago. Again everything was too freakin tiny. Now I have to find a seamstress to alter jeans I bought to make the tops with that stretchy material. Or spend the relax of my pregnancy in track pants and mens t-shirts. Don't even receive me started on the underwear situation. I'm gonna be coach soon if I don't find some big stretchy drawers. I thought of that but the buttons on jeans dig into my belly button. And it hurts. And when you buy a bigger waist you receive bigger and bigger legs. Shelly you are ignorant. I may be fat honey but Im not unhealhy. In fact I bet Im healhier than you.

Resolved Question: Any plus-sized and/or shortish girls ever ordered from Alloy before?
I receive the Alloy catalog and would really like to order this pair of jeans. The only thing is, I'm not sure if they would fit me because their sizing is weird and goes by odd sizes (like 19, 21, 23) instead of even like most other clothing stores do! I normally wear a lady's size 24 (I am losing weight, I used to be a size 30-32) but once in the while I wear a 26, or even a 22, depending on the way it's made. Well, Alloy has size 25, so do you think that would fit me? Also, their inseams every seem pretty tall to me. I'm 5'3.5" and normally need short pants. Well, they offer inseams in lengths 30-37. My dad's inseam is 30 and he's 5'9" so it seems like a 30 inch inseam would be too long on me, but it's the shortest they offer! Or are mens/womens inseams different? I don't have a measuring tape or anything to actually measure mine. Just wanted some opinions from people who have ordered from them before! Thanks. :)

Voting Question: What do i do? Do i model it or Not?
I'm 29 years old and I work for BA as a pilot. I got married when I was 21 years old. My wife designs clothes for Men and Women. she loves her work. She is always asking me to model clothes for her. But just a couple of days ago I got a call from her when I was in Spain (as I‘m a pilot). She was telling me how she sent pictures of her designs of her mens thong away to some specialist designers. She has now received a letter back saying that they would like to arrive and look every her designs. But as I’m always modelling clothes for her as it is a big help, (so she says). She has asked me if I could model the thongs she designed. I told her how I wouldn't mind modelling it if it was just in front of her, but there is going to be other designers in the room. I may have modelled the thongs if it was male designers as I feel a bit more comfortable. She says it is going to be 2 women designers. I have said to her I will do it for her as it means so much to her. Unfortunately for me I have to stand practically naked in front of these women, plus they could be there for over 2hours. If it isn’t bad enough that I have to stand naked in front of other people, they will be measuring and making adjustments to the thongs while I’m wearing them. They are going to be coming to our flat this Thursday. I don't know whether I should tell her the truth that I don't want to do it, but at the same time I would be breaking her dreams. This is the first time that she has actually been contacted about one of her designs by professional designers. I have talked to my best mate, he thinks it silly and just says rather you than me. But if I tell her I don't want to do it she will always saying how if I had modelled it she would be a big clothes designer. I have already told her that I would do it. Do I tell her I’ve changed my mind??? What do I do??? Do I embarrass my self in front of others? Or Do I shatter her Dreams?

I'm having a LOT of issues with my weight right now. I'm sitting here crying because I was so glad for once because I got really nice non hand me down clothing. I got the biggest size in the non plus size clothing, and NONE OF THEM FUCKING FIT. Not even the stretchy skirt I got. I can barely receive that son of a bitch past my knees. I looked in the plus sizes and they have absolutely no pretty clothing that I would like to wear. My body hates me. I receive a non plus size shirt--the problem is, it fits up top, but doesn't fit on the bottom because of my wide hips....I'm a very curvy lady. I receive a plus size top, and it engorges me up top, and fits on the bottom. What am I supposed to do??? Now I have to take back every of the clothes I got... and I'm VERY frustrated right now because I can't find anything that fits me besides mens clothing. ARGH! Help??? Yeah, same here Becky... damn hips. -_- I actually found out about Torrid on one of my previous questions. I may end up ordering some stuff from them and getting them tailored or something if they fit silly.... its just so frustrating, because its more money out of my pocket. Resolved Question: CONFUSED, am I a lesbian or am I too young to understand?
I'm totally confused about my sexuality. I'm only 15 and i guess some would say that is too young to be sure of sexuality, but this is an age that I should be fancying men and if I was completely straight I wouldn't find women as attractive and arousing as I do, right? I still notice when a man's good-looking, but its mainly there style I notice (hair, clothes ect.) and I don't go crazy over a mans body, like my friends every do, I honestly don't find anything at every attractive about mens bodys. I fancy girls too but I really don't want to be a lesbian, I don't want that "stigma" attached to my name Plus, I'm only friends with one lesbian girl who I don't particularly fancy, due to the fact she's quite boyish, so I can't even find a girlfriend, even though I desperately want one and have no interest in being in a relationship with a guy, at every. Ok, so i adore fashion. But i dont know much about it. I am really only looking to open a tiny store in the town that i live in. It is a tiny town and everyone has to steer 30+ mins. to the closest mall.. We have wal-mart. But thats it. I want to have a store that has mens, womens, kids, and plus size. I am considering opening a consignment booth at a local store in my very tiny town. It is inside an old grocery store. The lady who runs it sells artificial floral arrangements and gifts and has booths set up around the perimeter. She wants $40/month plus 10% of sales for a 12' x 10' area. Sounds reasonable to me? Okay, so me & my family are living on AE ( Airforce Europe ) & I'm shopping online for my first time. I've always liked American Eagle / Aeropastle (sp?) clothes, and I'm going to purchase them soon, because school's rolling around & I want them now. BUT. I was wondering if AE & Aero & Aerie run true to size, I'm new at shopping online & muchless those stores, but I wanted to know if the 2x is really a 2x & not some super tight, uncomfortable fit. I don't want to spend 100$ for no reason. & I'm nice of tempted to store in the men's section online just in case. I bought sweatshirts, from the store where I lived, but they where in the mens isle & fit perfectly - I just couldn't buy anything in the womens because they where tiny. Resolved Question: Sweating and armpits?
I bought this new antiperspirant and it seems to be doing it's job. However, my clothes (armpit part only) smells and is wet. But the thing is that, my armpits themselves do not odor at every. Is it because of bacteria or something? It only seems to odor when touching clothes. HELP! I've tried so many antiperspirants/deodorants like Secret Clinical Strength, Certain Dri, regular deodorant and now I'm using Gillette Clinical Strength for men because I read that mens deodorant is better, plus it smells so good. Resolved Question: Garage Sale -general questions?
Having a garage sale. Besides pricing, I know it's every about how items are displayed for great sales! Any suggestions on some creative or good ways to display clothing you are selling? Folding them on the table never seems to work- they receive too messed up and I find people don't take the time to look at many of the clothes- they just skip over them and maybe pick a few up from the top. At this sale there will be a huge variety of clothing- ie. mens, womens, womens plus size, juniors, infants, toddlers, girls, boys, formal dresses etc etc... How do you go about pricing? I know when I go to sales i usually won't receive anything if it's over $1.00 (clothing wise).. but when i go to have my sales, i sit and think "gosh i paid $50 for this shirt new and wore it 3 times, so maybe i could receive $3 or $4 dollars for it".. then the clothes just end up not selling. What is a good rule for pricing clothing? I do use ebay- I sell on there frequently... however it's summer and it's slow and things arent selling- so i started losing money (ie cost of original items +listing fees) so I decided to say screw it and take what i can receive at a garage sale- sometimes the little you receive on ebay isn't worth the time!

Resolved Question: where can I find mens shirts like emmit wears in QAF?
so I JUST started getting into queer as folk, and I'm bigendered, and I am very picky about clothes, if it isn't flashy, shiny or dark-I'm not wearing it...I am in adore with some of the shirts that some of the guys wear in QAF, so I'd like to know where I could buy some for myself-preferably not in tiny sizes since I am kinda plus sized and big busted-ahem!..thanks for the help:) I checked google....I don't even know what to search for...if I type in mens shirts, I receive every sorts of results, I can't type in gay mens shirts because then I'll receive results for a bunch of t-shirts with sayings on them....

Voting Question: Is there any place online that I can buy plus size mens clothing that have a "younger" appearance to them?
I'm a little on the big size (3X-4X depending on brand) and have been looking to buy some new clothes but every the sites i find only sell professional looking clothing in larger sizes (fancy button up shirts, suits, etc.) and I was wondering if anyone knows a place where i can receive something that has a "younger" appearance to it. I mean I'm in college and want to look it...not 40! I want something on the shirts, but nothing "over-the-top", I'm sorry if I seem picky, but that's just me. I kinda like shirts that are somewhere in between, teenage and adult...if that makes any sense.

okay, i've sent out another qestion that tells about the other nightmares i've been having. here it is: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AveQupm0q8OUr6mXK7YN6VEazKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20091215185359AAmZxyY i sent the qestion out as: Help! i had a odd nightmare the around the night of his murder!? ever since the night of my uncles murder i've been having really strang nightmares that every involve a killer. i started having the dreams before i even found out about him. in this dream i was at a store in the changing room. i had just finished trying on the clothes. but right when i was going to put my clothes back on and leave i saw a pair of big light brown pair of mens shoes in front of the door. he started banging on the door trying to break it down. then he grabbed mt clothes off the floor so i couldn't take off the stores clothes. i didn't do anything because i was frozen with fear. i was so afraid i couldn't think straight, i was so scared i couldn't even talk. he kept on trying to bang the door down. then i woke up. why am i having every these dreams involving a murderer!? does it mean something that i started having them the night of his murder before i even knew about his death. is that i sign or somthing? if you don't think it is then please at least tell me what they mean. i have had dreams that came true before and at night i feel like i am am being watched just like in my dreams, plus when i feel like i'm being watched i was to afraid to move or talk just like in my dream. i had the dream about 1:00 - 2:00 am. what do they mean and why am i having them!? like i said a few of my dreams have arrive true in the past. help!

I first need help finding the right size in mens clothing and I also need help on the best places to store. My clothing style is pretty much preppy, trendy, American Eagle-type on the casual side but I want to transition that same style for the workplace. Any ideas? Keep in mind I'm a big girl but rather short 5"5. How can I make short and dumpy....sexy? :)

so i wear 3x in shirts (women) so i was wondering would size shirts should i receive in men? I'm asking this because i like hottopic and karma loop clothes but I'm plus size so they don't have my size in the women section plus i like a lot of shirts in the mens section anyway

This question is for every you ebay shoppers out there. I want to know what you want and search for when you go onto ebay to look for stuff. BE SPECIFIC and detailed. Clothes? Cameras? Etc? If you say clothes, Plus size, maternity, mens, etc? Cameras type brand, etc? Also, want do you want to pay for it? Keep in mind we gotta make a bit of money. What about shipping? Resolved Question: Garage/Yard sale experts ... I need advice, how do I price these clothes ?
I bought about 500 items for .10 each at our local thrift store sale weekly. It is good stuff, like levi's, disney kids stuff etc. I wanted to sell it on ebay, but now I want to receive rid of it. I wanted to have a "first" yard sale (the "second" will be later for what is left over) and just say "every clothes $1. Also, how should I sort them by size, I have babies thru plus women, only no mens, and only clothes. ? I tried last weekend but it rained, so no go, just a few in my garage. But I had them sorted by pants, blouses etc and I think if they were sorted by size, that might be better and hanging I know helps ,if I can because they can look them better. I am not a garage sale shopper so I don't have the mentality. I've given several over the years, but I think $1 for these clothes is a steal, oshkosh, old navy, levi etc, but do gargage salers every want only .25 items ? I"ll take your EXPERIENCED ADVICE AND SUGGESTIONS I do know how to advertise .

Resolved Question: Is there a store for large breasted women to buy trendy clothing?
I have big breasts. I am not however Plus Sized. I cannot wear the latest trends because they make me look extra big, and I can't seem to find any shirts that fit. I end up wearing Mens size tiny t-shirts and am getting frustrated that I cannot find feminine clothing. Can anyone offer help?

Resolved Question: How should preteens/young teen girls dress decently when they are quite obese?
YEs yes, while trying to lose weight and exercise of course.In the meantime,they must still receive dressed and go to school etc.The available clothing doesn't take them into account and they are there in numbers whether one likes it or not. Plus section for Juniours is not that "plus" and womens has way too grown up styles,plus the clip is different on forming bodies and mature ones, ven though both are plus. Other than buying boys/mens things what can we suggest to maintain self esteem if one is advising and trying to help? juniors styles do not fit as I stated before, this young person. Jeans are the easy part, yes they can fit.I wouldnt be cruel enough to suggest a flowing dress w/a BELT-disaster.

Resolved Question: My girlfriend and myself are going on holidays together. Should I wear things she buys ?
My girlfriend and myself are travelling overseas together for eight weeks and as we are both students we have put our money together for the holiday. I am notoriously bad with money so willingly agreed that I give every my wages to my girlfriend for the preceeding period to our holiday and she will purchase clothes and everything else to take. She has done a wonderfull job so far with the tiny amount of money I have given her, and thier is only two weeks to go. She has done things that i would not have the will power to do just to keep money. For weeks she has banned take away food, she has been getting her girlfriend to clip and perm her hair ( instead of going to a salon ), has had her grandfather clip my hair to keep money, and lots of other changes including having me share her three brothers bedroom with them at her parents place for the last two months so I could leave my apartment and keep rent. She is to be commended as I could not have saved as much as she has on my possess. For the last two months she has been buying our clothes from a op store at next to nothing. This has included everything, hers and my underwear, her petticoats, dresses, stockings etc as well as every my shirts, pants, socks shoes etc. So she did not double up on the underwear I have to wear in the very icy climates we are visiting overseas she has only brought me one piece long johns for the last two months from the op store. I am now at the end of my traditional boxers and singlets, and as we are so close to leaving she will not buy me any new ones. Instead she has made me start wearing the long johns she purchased for our holiday. I was not aware she had been stocking up with long johns until she said it was also what i was wearing around home leading up to our holidays. The white long johns she has bought are one or two sizes to big for me plus also second hand, which does not excite me especially as they still have some tiny stains etc on them after she washed them when she brought them home. I have no choice so I am wearing them because I have nothing else, but find second hand mens underwear unclean to wear. My other problem is that they are grandad style long johns with the button up flap below so my mates are having a good giggle at them. Could some one advise me if I am being stupid not wanting to wear second hand long johns, or should I demand my traditional boxers and singlets. The trouble is I know I will need them on holidays so I will have to eat my pride and submit to her preferences while we are away.
